WE MADE IT!
after spending a wonderful evening with krish and her kids, we left for the airport very early sat. morning. we flew to philadelphia where we went and saw the liberty bell, took a horse drawn carriage tour of the city, and lastly saw ben franklin's workshop.
only one minor problem, going through security, carlee had her new snowglobe, that she paid $7.00 for, taken by the TSA. evidently it was over the 3 ounce liquid limit. after many tears, and some begging by me, security did give back the snowglobe, and all was right with the world again.
we landed in rome and met max and fedi at the airport! it was great to see them both again. we loaded our bags and then off to stroncone we went. max and family fed us a wonderful spaghetti, bruschetta, rotolo di spinaci meal. it was delicious! I had 2 helpings of the spaghetti, potatoes, and filetto in crosta. cristiana is an excellent cook!!
our home/apartment is awesome. it has 2 bedrooms, a living room with fireplace, and a small kitchen. we love it!
tonite max took us to the mountain range, prati di stroncone...we saw the sunset and have some beautiful pictures. we will post those tomorrow.

Glad to hear you made it there safe and sound! Ah the snowglobe thing, Mike Hanline's wife called him in Tampa to get another snowglobe and put it in his checked luggage because hers was confiscated by security! whoknew?!? Have fun!

randy, amy, krish...
life has been fun and busy...max and cris keep us learning new things, trying awesome food ( i have recipes...), and seeing awesome places.
we miss you all terribly...and I MISS MY DOG! randy, please let him sleep with you...he loves that!!
yah, the snowglobe...what a mess...like the blonde 8 year old is such a tough terrorist type...lol...
