sad day for the photographic world

this morning i received word that Ralph Richter passed away. 

an icon of our industry has been lost.

Ralph's accomplishments are far too many to list, but suffice it to say, he was an inspiration to many.

He was a national judge, a mentor, a multiple award winner, the National Award winner, and my friend.

I will miss him greatly.

Thank you Ralph for your help, your words of wisdom, and for the adventure of photographing Pasque flowers...I will miss you greatly...
