KALLHOFF PORTRAIT IS GOING GREEN!!
I learned so much while in Italy...and now that I've been home for a few months, some of the differences have become glaringly apparent.
A. We waste a lot of paper at the studio. ALOT!
B. Gas is getting progressively more expensive and our clients drive a considerable distance to the studio.
C. Time...time is so valuable and we all deserve to spend as much of it with our families that we can.
SOOOOO...in light of those revelations, we are going to be changing some of our bad habits at the studio...
HOW DOES THIS AFFECT YOU OUR CLIENT?
1. We are going proofless. We have found that with the online private gallery that our clients are able to share their images with friends and family much easier, as well as we will be SIGNIFICANTLY reducing our paper usage!! You will still receive our client CD with your image show on it, as well as your personal client online gallery.
2. In keeping with the reduction of paper, we will be doing all communication by email and phone. With email, we do not wish to increase your spam, so, if you receive any communication from us that you no longer wish to receive, PLEASE return it to us with a 'remove from mailing list' in the subject line, and we will happily remove you.
3. The rising price of fuel. With picking up orders or placing orders, you will have a couple of options. We are more than happy to ship your cd or your finished orders to you via priority mail for a nominal fee to simply cover the cost of postage. This option is most cost effective and time efficient for the majority of our clients! While we LOVE seeing you, we also want to save you money and valuable time.
4. In keeping with the fuel and time issues, we will be offering an 'ordering by email' option for the first time ever. IF you wish to order by email we ask you to contact us and we will send you step by step instructions. IF you order online, we will follow up with your order with a phone call as we wish to continue offering the best customer service possible! Any questions can be answered at that time, we will confirm your image numbers and quantity, as well as help you with any custom product offerings you may be interested in. Realizing this is a new service, please bear with us with the glitches and mistakes that could be made by simply not having the face to face ordering. We will STILL be doing in studio ordering for those that wish a bit more guidance and help.
5. And lastly, time. We realize that in this busy busy world we live in, that all of us feel the stress of time. Our hope at Kallhoff Portrait is, that with the 'green' changes we are implementing that they will also give you the gift of time and convenience. Being able to book appointments online with us, paired with the online ordering system, we hope that this makes it easier for you to work with us, regardless of time of day or night.
Phewwww...a lot to write out, but, truly, I am excited about the exciting new changes to our studio!
